Maybe one day....it will catch on. But I question where all these extra electricity will come from and at what cost. If just one out of every ten new cars bought were a Tesla....it would worry the Saudis greatly.
At 35K a pop, that’s 4+ billion in sales... Wow. Their target is 500K sales a year. Pretty ambitious. Sure, Ford is doing what, 2.5 million a year, GM 9+ million a year. But still pretty good for a relatively new player on the block.
