Well, I'm glad Trump is on this now. Winning is paramount, and doing so with a minimum of controversy is infinitely preferable.

However, if it comes down to it, I fully expect him to launch into a PR initiative.

He can claim that politicians are subverting the clearly expressed desires of the voters. The other side can claim that the rules allow them to finagle and steal delegates.

Who do you think will win that one?

Old age and treachery beats youth and inexperience.

Winning is winning, and if it takes cheating to win, you still win. Not saying anybody is cheating, just that the ends justify the means. Anybody who acts otherwise is naive; and anybody who admits they are cheating is stupid. Cheat, but deny it. That is how to win.

Trump needs to get just as dirty as his opponents, maybe even more so, but do it in a way that allows him the benefit of plausible deniability. He knows this. What he is learning is his way around the political industry.
