Roger Stone Says He’s Planning “Days Of Rage” At The Convention

Roger Stone, the longtime Republican political operative and current ally of Donald Trump, says he’s trying to organize protests at the Republican convention in Cleveland this summer to disrupt any effort by the party to “steal” the nomination from the frontrunner.

Stone tweeted several times on Friday evening about his plans, announcing a “Stop the Steal March on Cleveland” and calling on supporters to get to Cleveland for the convention in July.

Stone told BuzzFeed News over email that he is planning “#DaysofRage,” a seeming reference to the Weatherman-organized Days of Rage protests that took place in Chicago in 1969. Asked to elaborate, Stone said he was talking about “rally-protests -at delegate hotels street theater.”

Stone said the campaign was not involved in organizing this, instead saying the protests will be “organized by Trump nation,” but said that “we did inform them.” He said he had “issued the call to action” on Infowars

It’s inevitable and necessary that there be a pro-Trump contingent in Cleveland. I hope it’s well organized and chooses well places to gather, far away from those who will be near the Q to create chaos. Keep in mind that we can gather in small groups rather easily, as we’re the face of America.

I just checked something that's interesting. The Republican National Convention is July 18-21 with meetings the week before. The Cleveland Indians don't play any home games from July 11 through July 25. The Indians stadium shares a concourse with the Q in between the two stadiums. I don't think if I decide to be in Cleveland to express my feelings, being in that general area is a real good idea. It would be quite easy to detain protestors in the Indians Progressive Field if things get frisky.

A comment on Roger Stone’s announcement. OTA he gave out a web site URL on Info Wars this week. The site given was Stopthesteal.com which was incorrect. It is NOW NOTED the site is stopthesteal.org Spent the better part of one evening last week attempting to find the address. ;-/
