“There’s a pretty good chance, barring an upset in Maryland, that Wisconsin may be Cruz’s only primary victory in the entire month of April.”

___________________________________________

Amazing how Rush Limbaugh can ignore Trump’s large lead in delegates over Cruz, while at the same time play up the significance of Cruz’s Wisconsin win as a “game changer.” Rush also never likes to speak about the upcoming primaries you mentioned where Trump will almost certainly win over Cruz.

I’m fairly certain Rush will treat this Wisconsin win as if Cruz just won the primary. I will not be listening to him tomorrow. He’s been horrible lately, tomorrow he’ll be unbearable.

Aww wrong, Northern Wisconsin is major Liberal area. They lean Socialist. Seriously.

I grew up in Duluth and know many in Northern Wisconsin, and they lean heavily Socialist.

Which is why Northern Wisconsin went for Santorum in 2012.

Nice try. Thank you for playing, OneVike.

No cussing, now. :)

However, I’m saying this almost recklessly because I have no idea if wisconsin is open primary.

Yes. Wisconsin is an open primary, which Ted Cruz doesn't do well at.

Unless the Uniparty needs him to. :)

It sounded odd hearing Cruz thank the Bushes in his victory speech.

And I stand by what I said because of what you said earlier ...

“In my mind Cruz is the nearest to Reagan”

Yeah sure, only in a delusional state of mind does that comparison apply

Thanks for letting me know that WI is an open primary state.

Yes the Uniparty needed teddy only for tonight, and unfortunately for teddy cruzniparty, he will need the Uniparty all the way to the convention.

I’ve been mouthing off on other threads that there be a lib operation chaos be goin’ on.

Wisconsin is a funny state. I think that there is ALWAYS major-league hinkyness going on with the Wisconsin vote.

For example, Scott Walker survived a recall attempt HANDILY in June 2012 - yet a mere 4 months later, 0bama walked away with the state.

Myself, I suspect buses from Illinois into the Milwaukee area precincts. The Illinois electoral votes were signed, sealed & delivered. The vote footsoldiers could be used elsewhere.

The DNC needed WI electoral votes more than they needed Scott Walker gone, and there would be no national election-day chaos around shady goings-on in Wisconsin.

In this present business, the numbers for Cruz in the Big City Plantations are suspicious.

They all suddenly got Right-Wing religion? Not hardly. :)

That’s the thing everyone overlooks, Cruz does not stand a snowballs chance in hell of gaining the Reagan democrat voters and without them, the GOPe looses. And that is why I believe they have made us this false narrative of Trump hates women/women against Trump. It is to deflect from the fact that Trump IS THE ONLY candidate who can crush any democrat nominee. Which brings us to the conclusion I made a long time ago, there is but one political coin, one side reads “D” and the other side reads “R”, yet it being the same coin, their goals are the same ... globalism through the destruction of our sovereignty & borders through the destruction of our economy & sovereign citizenship.

Yea, it;s a huge liberal city. I always refereed to it as the SF of the North. It’s the other corny liberal city by the Frozen bay.

Lots and lots of lefty liberal Socialist there and in Northern Wisconsin.

Bunch of greeny granola’s. Oh, there are some moderates and conservatives like anywhere, but so few it’s pathetic.

My question is, if tonight’s vote pretty much reflected the polls everyone hates so much, with a few points difference, and the future polls still show Trump winning big, why don’t people think Trump will get to 1237?

the polls haven’t done a horrific job folks. Ted was expected to win by 10. Using polls as one tool and not an exact science, they were pretty close.

I didn’t hear about the trump up by 10 polls except by reading them on here.

Seems like Trump will still win a lot of delegates, starting with NY.

It sounded odd hearing Cruz thank the Bushes in his victory speech.

I think they call that "Kissing The Ring"...

Some freepers think that what John Kasich is doing is pure treachery, when all he is doing is "Kissing The Ring".

Kasich and Cruz answer to the same Uniparty Masters.

They both have a part to play in the Cleveland Kabuki Dance, and play it they will, like the good little GOPee footsoldiers that they are...

That’s why we gotta melt down that corruptable coin and go instead with the multi-billion dollar bills behind Donald Trump. His financial independence puts him in the same realm as Elliot Ness’s The Untouchables.

Well, Sanatorium went liberal awhile ago as he joined the Dems on issues when a Senator. Why do you think they unellected him after one term?

The funny thing is the GOPe might reward their hard work and efforts to one Paul Ryan. I’d take Ryan over Kasich, though.

Trump got almost the same % of the vote he did in Michigan, a win for him, but now a loss in Wisconsin. Trump didn’t get any more unpopular between then and now. His opposition just finally started voting smarter.

This vote tonight shows what the smart numbers guys have been saying for two months, that all the Republicans need to do is consolidate behind one candidate to beat Trump, because Trump has had a ceiling under 50% everywhere. If Rubio had gotten out sooner than Florida, Cruz might be leading in delegates. And if Kasich gets out now, Cruz will almost catch up to Trump in delegates.
