GOP front-runner Donald Trump, facing a likely setback in Tuesday's Wisconsin primary, plans to shift gears in the coming weeks, and give a series of policy speeches in settings more formal than the freewheeling rallies that have become his political signature.
Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said in an interview Tuesday that a memo published by The Washington Post detailing how Trump plans to get Mexico to pay for his proposed border wall is a prelude to a series of moves that flesh out the policies that Trump has been speaking about in general terms in his rallies and in interviews.

Smart move
He will win the NE easily with this plan
Cruz can whine all week how he is not Trump, but the NE does not care
A few weeks overdue but we’ll take it.
Trump “plans a series of policy speeches,” pre-written by others.
He should get Kansas SoS Kobach who wrote Arizona’s law & the Mexico funding idea, to go up to Nebraska & trash Sasse’s buddies at Fremont for trying to scuttle immigration ordinance.
Also attack Walker’ acolyte Mike Pence & Mitch Daniels for vetoes of immigration enforcement.
Two weak states for Trump where free wheeling businessman Pete Ricketts reinvented himself as an anti- amnesty conservative in Nebraska.
Now he can look presidential. He is used to someone writing his lines.
“pre-written by others.”
Are you trying to say that Ted Cruz, or any other politician, writes their own policy speeches ?? You may have noticed Ted using a teleprompter tonight and he was pretty bad at it.
Now that he is boning up on policy, when will he be ready for another debate?
“Women with blisters on their hands...”
Barf.
Nebraska did the Paul Ryan Path to obscurity plan and got rid of one of Warren Buffet’s RINO buddies by voting third party.
Nebraska also has close 3 way primaries recently.

You sound like a teenage girl that is homely and cannot get the star athlete to date her,but gets him to talk to her,and she disses the smart pretty girl that he us dating. Childish....
I think beyond sending a flutter of tweets, Trump is incapable of anything resembling deep thinking. Remember, his harebrained idea of selling of US assets (presumably to the Chinese) to wipe off our national debt of $19T in 8 years? This is the kind of congenital idiot that has a horde of Trumpkins attracted to him.
I’ll start by saying I am neither a stormtrumper or cruzader. Trump is not stupid, he just plays it on TV. I don’t think he ever thought he would get this far. Now that it looks serious he’s starting to take it to hart that he can be President.
Trump is always looking fo good advisors. Maybe YOU should apply.
>> pre-written by others.
Or simply written by others.
Couldn’t come soon enough. It should be positive for trump for a month.
Never! No more debates. 12 is enough for a lifetime.
But if Trump is so smart and knowledgable don’t you think he should let us see all of his newly formed debate skills?
I don’t think he needs it going to the states we are going to. Before Wisconsin might have helped him. Now he doesn’t need the help.
Before tonight there were 867 delegates remaining. To reach 1237 delegates Trump required 56% of the remaining delegates. To reach 1237 delegates Cruz required 88% of the remaining delegates. After tonight there are 825 delegates remaining. To reach 1237 delegates Trump requires 58% of the remaining delegates. To reach 1237 delegates Cruz requires 89% of the remaining delegates.
Cruz has fallen further behind. Today he moved closer to elimination.
