Let My People Go: How Trump and Cruz Deliver the GOP
American Thinker ^ | April 7, 2016 | Mark S. Hanna

“I am more and more convinced that our campaign is going to earn the 1,237 delegates needed to win,” said Cruz after winning by a landslide in Wisconsin. But what he didn’t say is that to do that before the nominating convention, he has to amass nearly 82% of all remaining delegates -- a virtual impossibility.

Cruz knows only a miracle can get him to the coveted 1237 delegates needed prior to Cleveland. “I’m encouraged by seeing Republicans coming together and uniting behind our campaign,” Cruz recently said, arguing that old rivals rallying to him is “proof miracles can happen.”

The parting of the Red Sea is a better proof that miracles happen. But apart from divine intervention, it’s mathematically clear that the waves of Republican delegates will not be blown over to Ted’s side for a win before the GOP gathering this summer.

What can be counted on, however, is that the hard-hearted establishment cronies and elites will continue to unleash their full arsenal of sorceries, like Pharaoh against Moses, to thwart the people from actually choosing their leader prior to the convention -- even if it means political plague, pestilence and destruction ultimately descend upon their Republican kingdom.

Hell bent on #NeverTrump, the elites have formulated a trifecta of spells to keep both Trump and Cruz from securing the nomination. The first divination channeled through one of their old high priests, the failed Pharaoh-in-Chief Mitt Romney, was to split the vote by backing whoever might win a particular state’s primary delegates. Their endgame: conjure up a contested convention and thereby stop the exodus.

After this contests we need to start the real process of listing IMO all of the GOPe:

#1: List all GOPe here.
#2: Primary as many as possible over and over until gone.
#3. Email and boycott all GOPe sponsors until they stop

What the GOP has been whining about all these losing years, more people in the tent has arrived and they turn on the very guys that are bring them to the tent. Why? because they have shown us thier true colors and thier undeniable disgust for the people who are this country. They are rats in rhino clothing, all in the same bed all feeding from the criminal trough

The nominee will definitely have 1237+. The only open question is when.

Cruz may himself be sure of being the nominee, but that will be on the 2nd or a later ballot.

Trump may himself be sure of being the nominee, but that will be only on the 1st ballot.

Bed thinking here. Mark ought to have had a good sleep and a re-read. Maybe he could have avoided publishing a piece of crap like this.

Sad, but true...

GOPe is in bed with the Democrats for a Hillary presidency.

And yet, some of our brilliant folks here can’t wait to deliver a floor fight to the GOPe.

If Trump were tailing Cruz by 250 points at this time, I’d urge him to drop out.

The dynamic would be different because Ted and his followers would not have been forced into acting as they have.

I might have actually supported Cruz. As it is Trump is the leader, and it’s time to quit this and avoid a floor fight.

The GOPe is about to wrestle our hard fought attempt to end their rule.

Does anyone here grasp that?

What Cruz said was, “... we will get to 1237, if not before the Convention, then at the Convention.”

He is setting the stage for the fact that he’s not going to get to 1237 before the convention. He’s shaping the narrative to his followers that he expects to win on the 2nd or 3rd ballot at the Convention.

Cruz knows he can’t win. Cruz is taking tons of money from the very establishment that he USED to complain about. Used to. Cruz has let his campaign be taken over and run by those very establishment types. The obvious conclusion is that Trump sold out. He’s working for the establishment now to stop Trump from getting into their little GOP club. His job is to deny Trump delegates and then step aside for Ryan when he’s told to.

The man is 100% RIGHT..!

Both are good men, and we need to destroy the GOP, cut off it’s evil trunk.

These two men need to teach the dirty GOP WHO IS BOSS.

Together they can DO it.

Now you’re talking!

Number one on the list should be:

Romney, he sabotaged Palin in 2008 and now Trump. Is he working for the dems?

Ryan is being primaried (sp?) by Paul Nehlen, freepers should support him.

Romney has no office to primary, but I would LOVE to see tens of thousands of Republican voters outside the convention asking for their votes to be counted (with maybe a little or-else) thrown in.
I would love for the GOPe to come out and tell thousands of angry voters how only the delegates choose and not the voter.

I think Ted is correct. I think it will go three or four ballots.
