Geraldo Rivera blasts Ted Cruz for ‘stinking anti-Semitic’ comments
The Washington Times ^ | April 7, 2016 | Victor Morton

Posted on 04/08/2016 5:24:59 AM PDT by Washi

Geraldo Rivera said Thursday night that Sen. Ted Cruz’s attack on “New York values” is actually a form of anti-Semitism.

In an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “O’Reilly Factor,” Mr. Rivera, also a Fox News correspondent, said that Mr. Cruz’s explanation that he meant to attack a certain sort of liberalism didn’t hold water because “”He could have very easily said that.”

Mr. Rivera called the “New York values” comment an example of “stinking anti-Semitic implications” pandering to Iowa voters, the nominal audience for the debate during which Mr. Cruz made the remarks about real-estate tycoon Donald Trump.

I'd say this is a new low for Geraldo except that he has had so many lows before. This is preposterous--plus to claim that Cruz's statement was coded anti-Semitism is slandering a lot of people in Iowa, by the implication that anti-Semitism would win their support.

New York stands for liberal, left-wing values, and for trying to impose them on everyone else.

“Mr. Rivera called the “New York values” comment an example of “stinking anti-Semitic implications”

I’m supporting Trump, but this goes too far.

The “New York values” comment is being blown WAAAY out of proportion.

But the Same has been done to Trump, I suppose.

“It’s easy to see why none of sCruz’s classmates at Princeton and Harvard and none of his fellow Senators like him.
He’s a thoroughly unlikeable person.”

Perhaps that is why Cruz is being endorsed by virtually everybody.

Geraldo, tool of the Democrats. He tried this months ago and was shut down. Ridiculous.

I don’t care if they are “loud, obnoxious or rude” what I care about is the majority of them continue to elect people that are anti gun, pro abortion, pro gay marriage and all for illegal immigration. If they weren’t for these things they wouldn’t keep electing people that support it.

By the way. Where are all the endorsement letter from all the Donald’s business associates over the years, telling us what a great, honest guy he is. So far the only letter I’ve seen is from some guy who went to the same expensive high school he went to.

Dear Geraldo,

NY values = projecting your vile thoughts onto others

Sincerely,

Geraldo Rivera is trying to tell everyone that Trump is Jewish?

I don’t understand his point.

Most of his business friends support Trump. They just don't make waves because they're not well known.

He got an endorsement yesterday from Giuliani...and Bo Dietl said yesterday on Neil Cavuto's show that he was a big supporter of Trump.

Trump's very well-liked by those he has dealt with in business.

Everybody hates Cruz. The hash tag #everybodyhatescruz is often trending on Twitter.

By that standard, you must REALLY like him.

I'm a former NYer. I was p!ssed when Cruz made that statement about NY values.

I'm also a former New Yorker but when he made the New York values comment I understood exactly what he meant. I now live in California and, no, I'm not offended by "San Francisco values" or "Hollywood values" comments...I know what those mean also. All three charges true. Stop defending libs and get over yourself.

Name one big city that isn't mostly liberal.

Hell, even Houston had a lesbian mayor until January.

New York is a big town. There are plenty of conservatives...just not a majority.

Hey Jerry!

Ted was referring to Donald’s 2012 interview with Wolf B., where Trump used “New York Values” to excuse his support for Partial Birth Abortion and “Gay Marriage”.

That's a joke.

You understood what he meant because you are a sCruz bot.

You're going to twist the meaning of his words until you like them.

Isn't that the way it works?

you sure about that? he was very well liked in conservative and debate circles....Geraldo did a dance about Trump in his disasterous DWTS appearance...

everyone agrees that Cruz is exactly like he was 20 years ago. He was very conservative. very outspoken, and brilliant. Liberals hated him

If Cruz pissed off Geraldo he must be doing something right.

That's pretty much what I was thinking too.
