Likely a classic case of projection. The left has paid zombie armies to do their biddings for a long time. They can’t imagine that someone might have real support from real people.
On the other hand it is possible that the left has been posing as Trump and Cruz supporters playing the part of nasty, rabble rousing posters to stir up Conservative individuals and to cause others to see Conservatives as mean spirited and nasty. They also can serve the purpose of stirring up real supporters to become angry and nasty to each other. This gives us a bad name and serves to divide and conquer us. We should beware of this and not fall into their traps.
