You still may not get it.

It's not that hes supporting Cruz or anyone for that matter. The problem is we have always depended on Rush not to support anyone but to be fair, balanced and objective. He needed to stay out of the supporting this guy or that guy biz,but he didn't. That's the problem.!!

Why the Framers Set Up the Electoral College

"It was desirable that the sense of the people should operate in the choice of [the President]. This end will be answered by committing the right of making [the choice] not to any pre-established body, but no men chosen by the people for the special purpose, and at the particular conjuncture.

It was equally desirable that the immediate election should be made by men most capable of analyzing the qualities adapted to the station and acting under circumstances favorable to deliberation, and to a judicious combination of all the reasons and inducements which were proper to govern their choice. A small number of persons, selected by their fellow citizens from the general mass, will be most likely to possess the information and discernment requisite to so complicated an investigation."

Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist, No. 68

I think the whole audience heard it. His staff ‘corked’ him on that one.

The problem when you are in the top ten like he and laura are,is that technical glitches are few and far in between. She had a mike malfunction today as well and she did not handle it well at all.
In the real world glitches happen all the time.I know. I had to deal with it for years here in third world radio land.

Interesting... I will have to research the Graybar and Chanin buildings

I worked 33 years for the Graybar Electric Co for which the building was named. While, originally they only occupied part of one floor, they were the first tenant to sign a lease. They have since moved the corporate headquarters to St. Louis but the building kept the name. It is located at 420 Lexington Ave. I will never forget that address.

Remember when the audio cut out for 27 minutes in a Carter/Ford “debate”?

Amazing how NYCers are so self-important they believe their opinion trumps everyone else’s just because they are from NYC. (Pun not intended.)

That is the New York values that Cruz was talking about.

I never did understand how Rush got away with making hundreds of millions of dollars being a professional conservative while having successive wives and a hidden opiate addiction. Is he clean now ? How long has he been clean ? Has he relapsed, and if so, how often ?

Re: Laura Ingraham show

She had a mike malfunction today as well and she did not handle it well at all.

Laura is on prior to Rush here, so we hear both. Her glitch today was a shocker.

RUSH is on easy street, calling it in so to speak. If he were younger and interested in changing to the times I would suggest a two hour radio show and a 1 hour TV/Internet stream in prime time, say 8 or 9pm.

I think Rush’s wives left him, so he is not divorced by his choice. His addiction began with prescribed drugs for pain, not “get high” drugs. He needed them to feel normal, as a smoker does, and only when there are no cigs, the smoker’s body cries out just for normalcy.

I’m just now listening to the first hour (I delay them to cut out the rubbish).

Rush spends 5 minutes describing his deafness and how all sound, including conversation, is noise to him.

He then spends the bulk of the next hour claiming he ‘heard’ every nuance, muttering, and clinking of glasses and that ‘hearing’ it jarred him out of other activities.

I’m not saying the anti-Cruz campaign is in full force, but this narrative of Rush’s is so contradictory it beggars belief.

She let the F bomb out. Telling Drew to contact westwood one was fine.

Laura your mic was quite hot.

Because of his hearing problem, and all the translation equipment he needs, I doubt he can do TV very well, anymore.

NOW he starting to blame his staff that they too are in on the grand conspiracy.

I am positive that was staged, to illustrate how terrible things sound with poor audio.

She let the F bomb out.

I know, and it just came out kind of naturally in a sentence to a long-time staffer. Obviously she didn't know she was on the air, but, ouch!
