That’s exactly what the majority of the populace of N.Y. State is going to do; in both the primary and in the general!

If you’re angry and upset, vote for Trump.
If you think Glenn Beck is a prophet, vote for Cruz.
If you think gender is all that matters, vote for Hillary.
If you think Lenin was a genius, vote for Sanders.

Cruz should pull out if he can’t get over 89%.

The population declines in cities in upstate NY are astounding.
Cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Utica have seen their populations halved in the last fifty years.
It is getting hard for the career politicians to hide the failures of their policies. They have made promises for fifty years—and all that has happened is things get worse and worse in upstate New York.

Inevitable headline: “Swingers for Trump!”
To: GonzoII
To a very large degree, this article IMO hits the nail squarely on the head. The part that really makes me steam sometimes is the perception of Trump supporters that the liberal lamestream media lays out:
The Republican frontrunner's supporters are often portrayed as undereducated, underearning whites.
I have a double bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Business Administration. I am far from what would be considered "underearning" and according to the IRS Tax tables and Kiplingers, I'm in the top 7% of all wage earners.
In the circle of people I know, the overwhelming majority are either Trump or Cruz, so there's a heavy, distinct anti GOP-E sentiment in my circle of influence. That won't bode well for the GOP if they steal the nomination away from both the front runners, especially Trump.

I grew up in Central NY state. At that time there were plenty of jobs if you wanted one. Now when I go back to visit I see little of the manufacturing jobs left. Politicians have done nothing good. We need someone who's a business man to turn things around.

So they all have New York liberal values and are going to vote for Trump. What a surprise!

Upstate NY has such amazing potential. Some of the country is the most beautiful in the US. Much of the Upstate economy has been destroyed by high taxes, regulation, and bad foreign trade deals. Obama is pumping in thousands of Muslim invaders into rural districts. Also, many communities are being ruined by the Section 8 Takers that Obama is demanding be allowed to ruin communities.
