Texas has plenty of kooks and rattlesnakes. We just need a real constitution with real courts and LOTS of military protection (some nukes) to keep things straight.
All the Islamists, commies and socialists (and liberal-tarians) would move north where they could enforce Allah, gay sex and abortion on the public. A lot of decent American-American people would want to come to Texas. Liberals would go insane with hatred if this happened.
