I have him somewhere between 80-90 delegates at the end of the day. If he ends up with 55%, it will likely be around 87 or so.
He'd need roughly 60% to get close to a clean sweep statewide.
"I don't want neutral...I want DEAD"
New York is more diverse voters than the Wisconsin wonky nerd Mecca primary.
Kasich and Cruz only have a hope in the RINO districts with very low % turnout of Republicans.
kamicruz-E will fight until he can destroy Trump while he destroys himself and gets Romney to be our leader....
Trump belongs to the city
Cruz belongs to the bank
Living in a river of darkness, beneath the neon light
Trump was born in the city
voters under Cruz’ feet
It’s in his moves, it’s in his blood
Cruz’s a man of Wall Street
Right on!
So do I.
Factoring in the 6% undecided, Trump should get roughly 57.5% of the vote and pick up anywhere from 88-92 delegates, if not all 95.
Cruz makes an offhand comment about "New York Values" obviously referring to the liberal nonsense going on in NYC.
But somehow the street smart New Yorkers are too stupid to realize what Cruz meant. And they are so upset that they have their panties in a bunch.
I can see New Yorkers voting FOR Trump, but I have a feeling that lots of them are voting AGAINST Cruz.
More evidence that the USA is DOA.
“a feeling that lots of them are voting AGAINST Cruz”
First, it wasn’t an offhand comment, he said it deliberately before the Iowa caucus and second, New Yorkers knew what he meant and they really don’t like him !!
My guess is you don’t know much about NY or NYC.
The more marginal CDs are as follows:
Kasich CD 7 (Brooklyn), CD 12 (Manhattan. Queens), CD 13 (Manhattan, Bronx), CD 15 (South Bronx), CD 16 (North Bronx/Southern Westchester), CD 19 (Hudson Valley), CD 20 (Albany), CD 21 (Watertown, Plattsburgh, Adirondacks), CD 22 (Rome, Utica, Southern Tier), CD 23 (SW NY, Ithaca, Corning, Fredonia), CD 24 (Syracuse), CD 25 (Rochester), CD 26 (Buffalo), CD 27 (Buffalo Suburbs)
Cruz CD 9 (Brooklyn) CD 10 (Brooklyn/Manhattan)
I would love to hear from all Cruz supporters who believe that Trump will not get to the nomination on the first vote? Put your name on the record now...
Trump will nearly, if not actually, sweep NY. Kasich will claim that he achieved a victory by finishing second. Cruz wishes that NY’s delegates were selected as in CO and WY.
Don’t hold your breath...I’ve been asking how Cruz can win the state of Florida for 3 weeks..no takers. They won’t admit it, but I think they are just like the GOPe; they don’t care that we would lose the election, only that Cruz wins the primary over Trump.
Trump played Colorado PERFECTLY. He was never going to win there in the first place and ends up with a PRICELESS propaganda coup on Cruz and the entire GOPe.
I would just like all those so convinced that Trump will not be nominated to put their reputation on the line.. I will put mine on the line and say he will get nominated-— let us have all those that are certain Cruz will be the nominee put their reputation and name on the line... I am sure this will be dozens saying he will be the nominee.. or maybe not...
Cruz is a lot of things, but he isn’t stupid.
By the end of the week, once it becomes clear, we’ll see if he’s vain enough to actually think he’s anything but a tool and spoiler for the GOP establishment.
If he stays in after getting his *** handed to him, then it’s official—Ted’s just a gigilo.
His crowing over Colorado and doubling down on it despite the bad optics strongly suggests he's not politically astute. What he does know is the law and manipulating rules and he may work the rules to the bitter end because that's what lawyers do.
Cruz sticking in the race long after it's over also lends to the idea that he doesn't understand how people think and how they will perceive his actions. He will be a branded a sore loser and will never get Presidential traction again, which is exactly why Jeb dropped out so early despite having tons of cash left.
I think Trump has a 50/50 shot to get his 1237 by July (CA,NJ) or comes up short by 75-100 and gets it on the first round.
