Levin's show turned when he took it upon himself to propagandize against the anti-Cruz propaganda. It doesn't even have to be about Trump. As long as it's disadvantageous to Cruz, Levin feels compelled to rant against it, and then turn it into an attack on Trump.

Surely Mark realizes, unless I’m way off base...

that the Democratic Party membership in New York is much larger than the membership of the Republican Party

...and in the general election everyone gets to vote, not just party members.

New York's population is about 20 million people, but only 1.5 million voted for the Democrats? The smaller Republican vote was due to fewer registrations in a closed election. That may not translate to a Clinton blowout in New York in the general election.
