Without deregulation I don't see how you make a dent in American productivity, however you fiddle the tax rates. Moreover, however you jigger the rates, and however much you lie about it, the revenue has to be reaised, and it will be raised from those who have money except for those who can buy their way out of the tax or pass it on to someone else.

Cutting the tax rate on the rich to 10% is easy, but we all have to figure that at the end of the day the tax burden will be born by the middle class because they are the only other party who can bear the tax burden.

But that is far too simple for Princeton / Harvard genius Cruz to accept.
