JENKINTOWN >> Several hundred supporters turned out to catch a glimpse of Hillary Clinton Friday morning when she arrived at Curds & Whey for what was billed as a conversation with Lilly Ledbetter.

Clinton met with Ledbetter, whose fight to close the gap between men’s and women’s wages led to the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, signed into law in 2009 by President Obama, and fielded questions from a select group of supporters in the busy café on Old York Road. Hundreds more waited outside, while unsuspecting customers picking up their Passover orders were patted down by the Secret Service before being permitted inside.

The funny thing is, the Pottstown Merc actually has a fairly conservative editor. I think this was just accurate reporting of the views of the establishment Democrats that infest this part of the Philly burbs. Main reason I live in the area is its convenient to get to my job.

Hillary Clinton is as likable as a blind rattlesnake.

Romney tried to shame the Democrats for stealing money from other Americans.

Didn’t work.

The press likes stealing.

If you can’t shame or prosecute or reason with criminals, then what are you left with?

You have to scare them.

Fear gets their attention.

You have to tell a story about how Hillary as President will hurt them.

Clinton met with Ledbetter, whose fight to close the gap between men’s and women’s wages led to the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act,

As with most Democrat bills, this bill is mis-named and does not close the gap between men’s and women’s wages.
This was the first act Obama signed and he violated a campaign promise to do it. (Allow five days of public comment before signing bills)

This bill resets the the 180-day statute of limitations for filing - period! It resets with each new paycheck.
