“I think a lot of people like Cruz, but just Trump better”

I’m sure that’s true. They agree on 80% of the issues.

Ted might have another problem:

For Cruz team, they have lived and breathed getting Cruz elected for the past few years. It is all they have done, many on his staff are salaried. While they are working 12+ hours per day, they are still getting a salary. They will be unemployed after Cruz leaves the race.

Cruz team pulled off the win for his Senate bid a few years ago. But unfortunately for them, but FORTUNATELY for We the People, Cruz's Presidential bid is coming to and end. Hopefully Cruz doesn't go scorched earth on his way out, although he has been going scorched earth for the past month. He doesn't seem to get that he is UNPOPULAR across the board. The South chose Trump over Cruz.

Cruz is not used to losing and has resorted to bragging about voterless 'wins' in CO and stealing delegates that overwhelmingly went for Trump. But unfortunately for Cruz and his campaign, but FORTUNATELY for We the People, all of his latest moves, stealing delegates, colluding with Kasich, etc are causing his numbers to drop at record speed. Cruz and his campaign are in the process of letting go. Not sure who in the Cruz campaign will be the voice of reason to say, for the love of our country, we have to let this go and support Trump. Just let it go Cruz. It's time.

Sort of reminds me of LOTR where Gandalf and Saruman are fighting. Saruman tries to convince Gandalf that they can share the power of the ring but Gandalf points out that only one hand can wield it and that hand is Sauron’s.

I don’t know why they announced such a scheme. They admitted publicly that they were sore losers, and sour-grapers. It makes them look pathetic, and will probably hurt them more than help them.

“Not sure who in the Cruz campaign will be the voice of reason”

There won’t be anyone. They will suck every last dollar out of the campaign; then start looking for another host body for the next election cycle.

Politicians make the laws. None of which apply to THEM. Cool, eh?

If, by “Cruz-bots,” you mean Cruz supporters, I agree with you.

Any ethical person who has been paying attention has no respect for Ted Cruz. The shady, underhanded stunts he pulled, starting in Iowa, are despicable. Cruz judgement is so poor that he has not considered his legacy through the eyes of his children when they grow up and read about his lies and actions. The man has destroyed his career. Actually, it’s sad.

fraying almost to the point of irrelevance on Monday, only hours after it was announced to great fanfare.

What we have here is a failure to copulate.

No honor among THIEVES!

That's what "Lyin Ted" and KASICK are... nothing but a couple of GOPe establishment thieves and GOPe party hacks!

May Almighty God protect and preserve Mr. Trump (and his entire extended family) from these two vile men, the GOPe, all who are aligned against him and from all of their nefarious machinations, plots and collusion. And may ALL of the following take place within their own lives and so called "campaigns", in Jesus name, amen!

He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made. (Psalm 7:15)

Let destruction come upon him unawares, And let the net which he hid catch himself; Into that very destruction let him fall. (Psalm 35:8)

They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They dug a pit before me; They themselves have fallen into the midst of it. Selah. (Psalm 57:6)

Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I pass by safely. (Psalm 141:10)

Are you new to politics? This goes on a lot (2008 and Huckabee anyone?). You're just paying attention now that your guy is not benefiting from it.

No, I have been involved in the political process my entire adult life and was interested at an early age. I am getting up there like most people who have been hanging around here for a long time. I have seen a lot of dirty stunts pulled over the years both in local, state wide and national politics. But I have never seen anything that approaches the sleaziness that has been coming from the Cruz campaign this year. I started out leaning his direction, but I still have a moral compass. In the past I thought that only the other side was capable of the level of deceit that Cruz pulls. This year has been an education.

If Trump was a candidate "in the club" Kasich and Cruz would be out and the race would be over.

This party may go from "stupid party" to "stupid decimated party".

What a wonderfully shrewd and succinct post.

It summarizes the blunt reality so very well.

And the GOP electorate is well aware of what's going on.

You just watch what happens tomorrow and in Indiana.

GOP voters are going to bit-hslap the GOPe, Cruz , and Kasich so hard, it's gonna make their heads spin. Into place.

Vote Trump
