Actually, Trump has lanced the boil that’s been on the butt of America for some time .... all the political elites, both sides of the fence. The purulence that is currently pouring forth, especially from Republicans, is noxious, foul & toxic. We’re going through the “draining” stage now with the likes of Romney, the Bushes, Linda Graham, Paul Ryan, George Will, etc. etc. being flushed out of the boil .... much to the surprise (or not, for those paying attention), of a lot of people. The boil has been very large, red, angry & painful for years, but until Trump came along, no one had the courage to take it on & clean it up.
If democrats start applauding Trump I’d be worried. The more they rant the better I feel.
