A Mexican judge has ruled that drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman can be extradited to face charges in the United States, the country's federal court authority said on Monday, days after he was moved to a prison on the U.S. border.
He faces charges ranging from money laundering to drug trafficking, kidnapping and murder in cities that include Chicago, Miami and New York.
Juan Pablo Badillo, one of Guzman's lawyers, said his client's legal situation was still being processed and that to extradite him now would be a violation of his human rights.

This could be his lucky break. Obama is on a mission to stop putting people in prison for mere drug offenses, so El Chapo will probably just be sentenced to some sort of community service project... perhaps he’ll have to stand on a street corner for a month handing out leaflets describing the dangers of evil pain killers.
Why can’t they just drown him in a toilet in Mexico? Why does the world still have to screw with this guy?

I’m just glad that a hero like sean Penn that lives in Malibu CA stood up to and single handedly captured this drug lord who probably has hundreds of hired killers that he could send over our unprotected border after mr. Penn in Malibu CA.

Mexico always requires that the death penalty be off the table, for better or worse. And while we’d pay for his incarceration at the Supermax in Florence, we’d at least have the satisfaction of knowing El Chapo wouldn’t ever be going anywhere and probably wouldn’t be enjoying himself, either.
Some Mexican judge is a very brave person. Take the gold or get the lead. I wouldn’t want to live in the house next door.

Just today, I was walking down the street (Chicago) through an area where some Mexicans had some kiosks up selling junk, they were selling t-shirts with this scumbag’s picture on them. He’s a folk hero to them? That sickens me.
