Christie on Trump's taxes: 'Ironic' that Clinton is pushing transparency

By Rebecca Savransky

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie slammed Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton for calling out Donald Trump for not yet releasing his tax returns, calling it "ironic" that Clinton was pushing for transparency.

"I find it ironic that Hillary Clinton is talking about transparency to anyone, given that she had her own email server that she used constantly and had her colleagues in the State Department use in order to avoid [Freedom of Information Act] requests and any transparency to the public," Christie said.

"So I hardly believe that Hillary Clinton is in any place to be giving a critique on transparency." Christie said Trump has made it clear he would release his tax returns once his audits are completed.

"If those audits are complete prior to the Election Day, he'll release returns," Christie said.

"If they're not, he won't."

Beat Hillary like the rented mule she is!

By the way - there is no law that says presidential candidates should release their taxes. It's a tradition that idiot Ford started. You only have to declare your financials which Trump did.

I hope Trump ends this meaningless 'tradition'.

Christie was not my choice as President, but I can live with him as Trump’s hatchet man.

Why doesn’t Mitt call on Clinton to release all the records of the Clinton Foundation? I’m sure there are more “bombshells” in them than in Trump’s tax returns.

It’s all stupid. Trump’s personal tax return will only reveal what salary he takes from the company and what he personally owns. Most of his wealth and assets are owned by the company. No one will find his true net worth in this tax return.
But of course if this return says he takes 5 mil a year and has two homes worth 20 mil etc the MSM will be trying to convince low info folks that he is not worth billions.

BS Only liberals would demand a private citizen release their tax returns.

Yet apparently liberals seem to believe that rich people keep their billions in a box under their bed. He might be worth billions nut only so much is liquid at any given moment. A difficult concept for liberals to understand.

Well, most concepts of more than 4 words that don’t have a picture attached are difficult for liberals to understand.

They need to change the website name to “Politispin”.

The Clintons took stuff they knew wasn’t theirs to the tune of over 100,000 smackers. When called on it they returned it before anyone could start any sort of proceedings. The left wing scum that run that website try to recast it all as if it was just a mild error. “They didn’t steal $200,000, just $150,000, so they are just being victims of the VRWC yada yada yada.”

But then torturous self-serving “reasoning” is the soup de jour of the leftwinger.

Interesting that he is being audited too. A coincidence? Or maybe he was targeted.

Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York State Senator now comes under this fancy “congressional retirement staffing plan” which means that if she never gets re-elected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies.

If Bill out-lives her, he then inherits HER salary until he dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary ($20,000 a month) until he dies. If Hillary out-lives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies!! Guess who pays for that?? WE DO!

Clinton’s 20 Acre - $11 million mansion is common knowledge. For her to establish NY residency, they purchased this mansion in upscale Chappaqua, New York. Makes sense, right?
They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments are around $10,000/mo. But an extra residence had to be built by the government on their acreage to house the Secret Service Agents. Any improvement to the property is owned by the property owners...the Clinton’s. So....the Clinton’s charge the federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of the extra residence to house the Secret Service staff which is just about equal to their mortgage payment.

He is the ONLY ex-president to use this loophole, thus earning the name ‘Slick Willie’.

This means that we, the taxpayers, pay the Clinton’s, salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff and it is all perfectly legal.

AND DON’T FORGET HIS GOVERNOR’S PENSION AND HER SECRETARY OF STATE PENSION.

And here we are trying to makes ends meet and we have to cough up to support thievery such as this!! More every day I believe that if it is POLITICS, it is crooked in one fashion or another!!

How many people can YOU send this to so everyone will know the truth of What BROKE Really Looks Like!?

I’d bet that the IRS has already “leaked” those tax returns to Hillary’s goons and I’d bet that those goons have already written their “smear-attacks” to damage Trump.

The only problem is THEY CAN’T USE THOSE HIT-PIECES until Trump “officially” releases his tax returns.

Harry Reid used every trick he had to push Romney into releasing his tax returns so Romney’s legal OFF-SHORE bank accounts could be twisted into a weapon Obama could use against Romney.

Trump doesn’t need to play the Democrats’ game.

Good!
