In order to get what we want from others, we need to negotiate. They can't concede if we don't let them.
I know the urge to be cynical because we have been on the outside for a generation. Its easy to feel that this isn't real, that someone will take it all away again. But that just gives our opponents more power than they have. Get used to winning. Get used to being the leader.

Trump is not conceding anything. He is making a reasonable attempt at party unity. He would be crazy not to try. It is unprecedented that the most poplular nominee in the country has to make the rounds like this but so be it. These Rinos have a short time frame to get on board and then to hell with them. Trump tried. People like that he tried. He is not afraid of these guys. I am quite certain he stands his ground.Ryan is totally incomparable with the party leader now. He must change his position on trade— immigration — the wall and bloated spending . He will have every opportunity.

There was some asshat GOPer on Greta last night. I think he was from Oregon. He said he has not yet come to supporting Trump because he does not know his feelings on things close to the heart (sic) of conservatives in the house. Greta asked like what. He said like moving on the deficit. Greta said, you mean like you all have done such a good job at that. The guy looked like he had been hit upside his head with a 2x4. He realized he was in an indefensible position and began to tread water.
This is what we are up against. Even the conservatives, yes this guy is a real one, don’t get the message, the old ball game of all talk no action is going to hopefully be over, either with them or without them. Ryan is not even a true conservative, he is something akin to the mailman’s son from
Ohio.
If the Speaker Ryan was ensuring enforcement of the immigration law,
he wouldn’t be upset about Trump and this wall.
