Gnats and Irrelevant Nuts – The Economically Dissonant Opposition
Conservative Treehouse ^ | May 12, 2016 | Sundance

Beyond the larger context of Globalists VS Nationalists, the internal opposition to Common Sense economic conservatism/nationalism can be fundamentally broken down into two categories:

♦ The first group are those who are fundamentally naive about large and historic economic issues; and how the economy was changed, forced to change, through the past forty years by financial interests who created a second, “false“, paper economy.

This first group is generally young, pseudo-intellectual, and their only reference has been while formally educated within the last thirty years (they’re under 50). Most of the oppositional (conservative) punditry falls into this category. Important to note, this group is also joined by the majority of politicians who are approximately the same age.

♦ The second group are those who truly know better; they are older and wiser, they know the truth because they saw it unfold. However, they are also financially dependent on retention of a narrative that sold the change in the past 40 years. These are the willfully blind who have sold-out to the benefit of, and enrichment from, the false economy.

This is a good analysis of the globalists who oppose Trump. It talks about the Wall Street paper economy and the Main Street real economy. Since the late 1990's the financial industry has become corrupt and extremely profitable. Under the Clintons the financial sector produced fraud after fraud. Enron and the accounting frauds, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Bernie Madoff and many others. At the same time, the productive parts of the American economy were systematically destroyed.

The article is too simplistic. The article says there are two groups of globalists, the young and ignorant and the older acting out of self interest.

There are not just two groups. There is a great deal of overlap between the groups the author mentions and he mischaracterizes people.

But the basic point, that the Washington establishment is aligned with the globalists who are destroying America is true.

This analysis is pretty good for the average guy to understand. Those in group 1 will not believe it even so, since they didn’t learn it in college or on CNN or Fox News.

Anyway this is good to understand, but now what do we do with this info? The global economy and globalism have been SOLD to the American people who matter, The Club and I ain’t in it.

Detective - thanks for the plain text story.

ImpimpInstead of gazing into tea leaves, you might consider a bit of education before calling Trump the worst (protectionism-complaint) since FDR. Globalism corrupted so much that those who would rule the world with an iron fist have the perfect climate developing.
