Term limits: no more than two four-year terms in ANY office and maybe only ONE term if it is a six-year term and NOT jumping from one political job to another.
I've even come up with a legal justification for term limits:
A career politician should be presumed a corrupt politician and if the presumption is rebuttable, the politician must rebut with clear and convincing evidence.
Definitions:
Career politician: one who holds office for more than eight years.
Corrupt politician: one in office who's main objective is his own politician future and not the future of America or his constituents.
Thinking about term limits,if a politician spent 3 yrs. of a 4-yr. term seeking reelelection, what would he be like if he only served 2 yrs. total? Would it mean actually working for the public good,or would it meaning ONLY working towards reelection?
