Why would any law firm need to pay for speeches?

Why would any organization pay over $200000 for one speech by anyone?

There has to be more to it than the actual content of the speech.

I looked it up...between 2001 and the end of 2015...Hillary and Bill Clinton got paid 153 million for speeches.

All of this....went to the Clinton Foundation, and thus would appear as some charity type operation.

I can’t imagine what exactly you’d get out of a speech from either one, but I’d say that about Bush, Powell, or any of the Washington elite.
