Yes. In hiring, housing, doing business. In Silicon Valley, diversity means white, Asian, or Indian. Anyone else, especially black people, are not welcome. They are not mean about it, and won’t bluntly say it, but they are progressives, and progressives support policies that result in racial segregation, so the problems politely solve themselves.
There has been at least one town with a thusly-named street that has considered un-renaming it, precisely because of the negative connotations that it inevitably carries.

Yes, and if you can code and are not white, Asian, or Indian, they will bend over backwards to hire you. But there are also subtle ways they keep people out as well.

I was going to include that, but didn’t. A Chinese or Indian owned company will favor Chinese or Indians by what should be illegal amounts.
You should see Chinese restaurants in Newark NJ; basically pillboxes with no seats - just pay (through bulletproof glass) and leave with your food. The surrounding suburbs don’t deliver pizza, send cabs/tow trucks, etc. - it really is a quarantine zone...
