John Kasich says Donald Trump should apologize to Judge Gonzalo Curiel

Ohio Gov. John Kasich tweeted Monday morning that presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump should apologize to U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, the judge presiding over a Trump University lawsuit.

"Attacking judges based on their race &/or religion is another tactic that divides our country. More importantly, it is flat out wrong," Kasich tweeted.

"@RealDonaldTrump should apologize to Judge Curiel & try to unite this country. #TwoPaths," he added.

Trump has said that Curiel could act unfairly in the case because of his Mexican heritage. On Sunday, Trump said "it's possible" that a Muslim judge could also be biased because of Trump's controversial proposal to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the country.

Kasich has not endorsed the presumptive nominee of his party, saying he would need to see a significant change in Trump's tone. Kasich told cleveland.com's Henry Gomez that it's possible he may never endorse Trump.

I find that as a general rule of thumb, whatever John Kasich suggests, do the exact opposite.

Someone needs to tell Kasich that there’s a reason his support never rose above 1%.

These morons just don’t get it.

There is no such thing as a Mexican race.

The judge is white.

He is biased because he is a member of La Raza.

How can he “talk to” the judge when he is a defendant in a case before the judge?

His religion is Mexican? It sure isn’t his race.

No, the Judge should apologize to Trump, the court, and the American people. He let a lawsuit go foward without the original complaintent, he is a member of a discriminatory group, he promotes illegal activity, he released private personal information about people involved in the case (and belatedly tried to reseal it, which is meaningless in today’s electronic society). The judge should resign, maybe face disbarrment.

My theory is that Newt was in on this particular Trump stratagem to control the media narrative over the weekend. Newt probably cooindinated with Ryan and McConnell to fan the flames and increase the coverage.

Kasich in on it? Probably not...but you never know.

No, Trump should not apologize to a racist - that is what a La Raza member actually is, which is inexcusable in a law Judge. We do not allow judges who belong to the KKK to sit in courts, do we?

"Attacking judges based on their race &/or religion is another tactic that divides our country."

How is attacking judges (and juries) based on their race &/or religion not another tactic that divides our country, if the race is Caucasian or the religion is Christian?

(I firlmly believe that the Uniter-In-Chief has the country as divided as it's been since 1865.)

Kasich should pick up his check from La Raza and make sure it clears before he demeans himself any further. Then he should get the same treatment that was given to Trump supporters in California.

Millions of Americans are big-time fed up with career politicians and Liberals/RINOs. Case closed! All the DC vermin are exposed for what they are, e.g., corrupt, self-serving, treasonous vermin.

Go Trump; keep exposing the political slimes.

As another FReeper put it, La Raza is the Klan with a Tan.

The Judge is a Klan Member, just like FDR’s first pick for the SCOTUS, Hugo Black.
