Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid wants Hillary Clinton to pick Sen. Elizabeth Warren as her running mate, the Huffington Post reported on Wednesday.
The report, citing four unidentified Senate sources, says that Reid has grown confident that Democrats would be able to hold on to Warren’s seat if she vacates it to be vice president.
The Boston Globe reported last week that Reid had tapped a lawyer in Washington, D.C., to review Massachusetts election law to weigh his options for how to keep her seat blue.

Too obvious. With all the media trying to make hay on Trump calling out that judge because of his Mexican heritage the Dems will probably pick Julian Castro thinking that will spur the Hispanic vote to come out in huge numbers. If that happens I can see a lot of white Democrats and independents crossing over to vote for Trump especially in the south and midwest.
I think we should encourage it. Hillary/Warren. Certain defeat.
OTOH, I still believe Hillary will be ‘encouraged’ to drop out for health reasons after the convention.(depending on whether Trump is careful not to alienate anyone else)

If it took more than 5 seconds for Reid to decide that Massachusetts’s senate seat is safe for democrats, then their internal polling is showing a historic Trump sweep.

The repulsion rate will run the gamut from men to women, old to young and across races. We have all had to deal with the Hillary or Fauxcahontas type, the angry lecturer devoid of reason and with a penchant for revenge on those who even innocently disagree with them. It may have been a co-worker, a teacher, an ex-wife, a mother-in-law, a boss or a customer.
A very limited range of appeal, in my view.
Given how sexist they think America is, how could they think this would be successful?
I imagine Warren would draw in a lot of those crazy Bernie supporters.
