I can understand their rage. During their so-called holy month, they cannot have any food or water during the daylight hours—and this year it happens during June. So getting up early for a big breakfast is particularly important. And the best part of the story is the ones who promised to wake them up are Muslims too! But Persian Muslims wanting to screw with their Arab coreligionists.

Anyone else remember the riots in Dusseldorf back around March 16, 1996? It was Turks and Kurds making all the trouble. Something having to do with Kurds being held in Turkish prisons...Traffic on the autobahn heading from the Frankfurt area towards Amsterdam was halted to let busloads of cops with dogs and riot gear through.
