Yes but since He did, I am not going to. Other people I actually care about depend on me and need me around to make their lives better. I will not let them or anyone else rob me or those other people of me.

Nobody has a bigger call on you than God Himself.
God may have mercy and not require a martyrdom of you — but if He does, it is sin to refuse. However, a bigger task yet is to die to sin — to refuse to let sin animate you, even for excuses. This is what Paul meant when he wrote “I die daily.”
Though islam is a cult and it would be nice to rescue its followers from it, many of its followers are so deeply brainwashed by it (if not demoniacally possessed), they cannot be rescued.
