Blacks in America can become successful just like whites. And they can run into financial trouble as well.,

"But Hunt’s credit problems also revealed credibility problems.

"For a 2012 Washington Post investigation into Hunt’s rise and fall, registrars at Cornell and George Washington University shot down his claims he’d earned degrees from their institutions, though he did attend them. He once gave a speech at Cornell, boasting that he owned a percentage of the Washington Nationals and served as the team’s “special consultant,” but the organization’s spokeswoman said neither was true. Hunt’s claims that he played minor league baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals also could not be verified by the ball club’s farm director."

His house is very near Ft. Marcy Park and, if I am not mistaken, next door to the residency of the Saudi ambassador.

In the DC region, there are probably 3,000 guys who claim they either played for the NBA, NFL or MLB. Ninety-nine percent never played a day. It’s like the number of people in the same region who claim they’ve worked for the CIA, FBI or State Department.

In 2010/2011 timeframe, I lived in Arlington next door to an apartment building where some idiot gal convinced everyone that she was CIA. She eventually talked up some guy into the idea that he could be hired, and she pretend-hired him (he actually gave notice from his regular job) and it took him around five days to figure out that she was totally bogus (and nuts). Cops couldn’t do nothing.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer crony. Too bad it doesn’t happen to all of them.

I imagine his biggest mistake was not giving enough kickbacks to his politicians.

I am mistaken. The Saudi ambassador’s residence is about 10 houses up river.

Someone got a sweet deal huh, and since it is valued at 24.5 million he could take out a sizable equity loan.

With the real estate market being what it is in the DC metro, I’d think he could have sold it but he probably owed more than it would fetch even there.

Many higher end homes in CA are purchased by Muslims and assorted foreigners of every description possible. Most of the American middle class could never afford it.

As I thought, he’s a Democrat.

He got a billion dollar contract with the Energy Dept.

And according to a story in 2012 in the WaPo:

In the “Teen Cribs” episode, which aired on MTV in early 2010, Bradley Hunt [his son], now 20, pointed to a dining room chair and said it was the one Barack Obama had used at a fundraiser at the house. In 2008, Hunt donated $4,600 to Obama and $26,200 to the Democratic National Committee.

But a spokeswoman for Obama’s reelection campaign said she couldn’t find any record that Hunt had hosted a fundraiser for him in 2008 or 2009. A spokesman for the DNC did not respond to requests for comment. Bradley Hunt also did not respond to repeated efforts to reach him by e-mail and through Twitter.

his rise from teen lawn mowing hustler to government contracting multimillionaire.

No mention of the Feds forcing sales to be routed through minority firms?
