If you think that Donald Trump already has the Republican nomination locked up, then you don’t understand what is going on behind the scenes. It has long been my contention that the elite will move heaven and earth in order to keep Trump from ever setting foot in the Oval Office. One way that they could try to do this is by attempting to deny him the nomination at the Republican convention next month. Over the past couple of days, the Washington Post, CNN and a whole host of other mainstream news outlets have been reporting on a new “last-ditch effort” that has been launched by Republican operatives to get the Republican convention Rules Committee to unbind all of the delegates and allow them to vote however they want. As you will see below, they can do this, and if they get enough votes they will do it.
This current effort is different from what we have seen so far during this campaign season, because it is actually being organized by the delegates themselves. The following comes from the Washington Post…

Republican elite want GOP to remain opposition party (and a sorry one at that). They do not want to govern.
Then we need to find out who our representatives are and encourage them to stick with the state’s vote if the state went for Trump.

Everybody wants to be important. So this is a fight between the delegates, who are full of themselves, and the people, who want Trump.
After all, what’s the point of having a position of authority if you can’t flex your muscles and show your power?
The age of rule by the people is too principled and honorable to have survived. It seems to be over now.

If they are successful in denying the will of the people, I believe there will be an uprising in this country the likes of we have never seen in our lifetime. It’s up to the PEOPLE to decide on who is elected, not the corrupt establishment. This is totally unacceptable, PERIOD.
Voters are just the dog and pony show. So sadly they will get what they asked for since dogs and ponies are not eligible to vote they will sit it out, from here on in. Say goodbye to this country and the “conservatives” will go right down the tubes with the rest of the dogs and ponies.
They are not republican operatives...they are Romney operatives. Period.
Thought the rules on delegate locks were at the state level and in some cases state law - so how can the national committee overturn that?
