In Orlando on Thursday, President Obama again called on Congress to do something about these mass public shootings. But the dirty secret about the four different bills that the Senate will vote on Monday is that everyone knows that none of them would have stopped the Orlando massacre. Indeed, none of the bills would have stopped any of the mass public shootings since at least 2000.
Everyone wants to do something to stop these attacks, but the one thing that we know does matter -- ending gun-free zones – are being completely ignored in the legislation. Since at least as far back as 1950, all but three U.S. mass public shootings (with three or more fatalities) have occurred in places where citizens are not allowed to carry their own firearms. Time after time these killers explicitly pick targets where victims can’t defend themselves.
Democrats use recent attacks to justify passing new gun control, but their proposals have nothing to do with these attacks. Senator Dianne Feinstein’s (D-Calif.) bill would ban people on the No Fly list from buying guns. But neither Omar Mateen, the Orlando nightclub shooter, nor any of the other Islamic terrorists from Fort Hood to San Bernardino were on the terror watch or No Fly lists. While Senator Chris Murphy’s (D-Conn.) bill would require background checks on transfer of guns between private parties, this is also completely unrelated to past mass public shootings. . . .

We should do everything in our power to guarantee that any senator who votes for the No Fly No Buy list is immediately placed on that very list, to include no right to even be in the same vicinity of a gun, as in the case of armed bodyguards.
Knee jerk suggests involuntarily reflexive. This isn’t involuntary or reflexive, their response to these tragedies has been well thought out and coordinated in advance. they have an agenda to move forward and a narrative to push it and statistical facts and realities will not cause them to alter their course.

That would be good. Better, I think, would be to start trying and executing them for treason and crimes against humanity.
The US Constitution is based on inalienable rights, including the most basic right of a citizen’s freedom to choose.
The 2nd amendment states in plain language:
“...the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed.”
Requirements to file an application, pay administration and training fees and perhaps be granted permission turn ARE INFINGEMENT of and a subversion of our Constitution!
The problem is NOT what type of tools or how many that someone chooses to possess, but what they choose to do with them. Their rights end when they infringe on other citizens, i.e. premeditated murder as in the case of Mateen!
Elected officials who engage in infringement of this right should be removed from office at earliest opportunity!
Does anyone know what is in these Senate bills?
Or is it like Obamacare. We have to pass it to find out what is in it.

Obama, Hillary and their masters in the UN will come after our guns after the new treaty Obama signed Amerika up for where all our laws and Constitution go out the window and we are subject to the laws put down by the UN, then they come for our guns and the UN police force that Obama is allowing in will come for the guns. Won’t surprise me one stinking bit that this so called police force is made up of Russian, Chinese, and muzzie army troops. Won’t surprise me one bit. Nope, not one bit.

The weirdos who approve try so hard to think they can imagine themselves as being another sex, of a land filled with skittles, rainbows, and unicorns, and a government who gives a $hip what they think and believes they have their back. What they don't realize is that when America es Venezuea, which iit will if it stays on the same course, is that they will end up being packed into cans, tasting like chicken, and lined upon store shelves just the same. Dodging the bullet but not the processing plant.

I suggest you check the vote record and stop buying the media that aligns the republicans with the left. This is the same ploy used to align all gun owners with the gun criminals.
