I guess they saw enough of the so-called “refugees” storming into Europe.
NHK (Japan) is confirming Brexit wins as well!
England is out! Good news Nationalism once again trumps internationalism. The USA should do all she can to help them— but Obama will not I fear. A Victory for England! There will always be an England!
I have never admired the United KIngdom like I do tonight. I have been there many times and I take back all the ill-mannered comments I made about their country.
Things may suck financially for England for a little bit, but good on them!
One talking head put it this way: “the prime minister is currently digesting this defeat.” Never heard it said that way!
No difference between the Leave vote and the trump vote. Its exactly the same. Emigration was the overwhelming issue. Democracy was second. Governments, especially globalists think that democracy is an unwanted and unwarranted ceding of control to the great uneducated and unwashed.
Notice who was with the government. The big lobbyists and the businesses behind them. And the big media. Its just transparent corruption. They thought that the people would not care about open corruption.
People have it wrong. Or should I say, elite have been lying. The EU is worse off without England. The British like the US and like the Swiss are far better off. The Pound will weaken for a little while. But quickly and strongly, the Pound will begin to rise and the Euro will begin to fall. This is a much bigger issue for the EU. The real situation will be seen in a about two weeks.

+100 for Trump!
Yes. I hope the EU dies a horrible death. Next exit, Germany.
Isn't enough Pepto-Bismol on planet Earth to soothe his 'upset stomach'...

Whaaaaaaaaaat???? Was busy with Olympic trials and just read this now. They dared??? This is such good news. This market threat is temporary. Omgosh, I am actually shocked. Good for Britain, the Country without which I wouldn’t be alive.
The general thought in Europe is that Cameron will stick around for thirty to sixty days, and then resign. Most people expect Scotland to bring up another exit vote within six months....which they voted heavily to remain in the EU...so expect them to vote to exit the UK and be independent. There’s also some talk that Northern Ireland will also go and talk about a independence vote.
Across the EU itself? I’d take a guess that the failure of the UK stay vote will have an impact in eight to twelve months....with at least three or four other countries also demanding a vote to exit.
Most people will agree...that the EU did a number of good and positive things over the first twenty years of existence. The problem is....they ran out of good things to do, and started to do some comical or amusing things (setting a EU standard on vacuum cleaner wattage for example). There’s another EU standard coming up for wattage to be used for hair dryers (as though we really needed that).
Is it automatic? If this were the U.S., someone would race to court and a leftist judge would rule that the Brexit proposal was invalid because there was a misplaced comma, or the explanatory language circulated to voters failed to mention the potential impact on the importation of tulip bulbs from Holland. Nothing would happen until the Supreme Court ruled, and it would all depend on Anthony Kennedy's random hunches five or six years from now. But this is the UK. Is Parliament bound to act? Will the courts stay out of it?
Perhaps we should demand our government reroute foreign aid going to countries who hate us to Brittian to help them for awhile. If my money is going to another country I would prefer it go to one that still values freedom.
