The Supreme Court’s decision not to hear a case challenging a Washington state law that forces a family-owned pharmacy to dispense emergency contraceptives is an “ominous sign” for those who value religious freedom, Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. said.
“If this is a sign of how religious liberty claims will be treated in the years ahead, those who value religious freedom have cause for great concern,” Alito said Tuesday in a critical dissent.
Alito was joined in his dissent by Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justice Clarence Thomas, falling one justice short of the four needed for the court to accept a case.

All the more reason that the Christian community needs to get out the vote FOR Trump and the conservative justices he has named.

I think the “emergency” aspect weakens the case. If true, professional ethics should over-rule the religious freedom aspect of the argument, I would think. Admittedly, I don’t know the law in the matter.
Those that don’t should have greater concern.

Do you think obama is more evil than Hillary? I don’t think so. As much damage that was intentionally done by obama. Hillary will intentionally damage the country, line he own pockets far more than obama did, and she is so incompetent that I believe additional destruction will come.
The Declaration of Independence is part of US Law as well as being one of our founding documents. It states in part that government is necessary to “secure the blessings of liberty.” It also states that whenever a government becomes hostile to liberty it is the duty of the citizens to replace it with one that will respect and protect our liberty.
One of those inalienable points of liberty is the freedom of association. But in the interest of remedying the outrageous denial of common human compassion when blacks were not permitted to use rest rooms or to go about their business as free citizens, instead of appealing to everyone to treat each other with respect, government was given the power to greatly infringe on private property rights and the right of freedom of association.
As a result, business was considered to be a form of “public accommodation.” In essence government usurped the rights of the business owner to voluntarily engage in free exchange. Now the concept has been extended to professions that government licenses. And now we see the terminal phase of this enslavement.
