Once the word gets out (as it has), the perps will simply plan their attack location to be between the stadium and the "back parking lot".

Unless special transport is provided to and from the back lot, this changes nothing but the attack location where people will still be unarmed.

The location is temporary and is really just a trial as a proof-of-concept. The bar is very close to Busch Stadium so the walk would be no worse that the walk from a parking garage.

Plus, muggings are not really the issue (even though a mugging was the inspiration) as much as cars being broken into and guns stolen ending up on the street.
