I had the same question... link seems to go to an Israeli news site ,, not much info at the site. As the story talks about bravery I’m going to guess this was a settler killed by arab terrorists unless I hear different, a Google search turned up nothing significant.

I wish that location was a required field on all FR posts dealing with an incident, crime, etc.
It is always best when the poster of a thread of a local story uses the “Body of Comment” section to provide at least a smidgen of back story, who, what, when, where, and why.
The same goes for editors of local news sources who, by now, should understand their article might get world-wide attention.
In journalism, that's called a "dateline," and no editor worth his red pen would have printed a story without one.
