I grew up in New York City. There are just as many "mad scientist" teen age boys per capita as anywhere else. Not just teens. Ever hear of NYC's "
Mad Bomber?"

Whatever it is, I am sure the authorities will continue to reaffirm to all in every way it is not “terrorism”. No way could it be that! None.

Wow. He must have been at head of his class at the re-education camp.

I remember as a kid, when you went to the movies, they would put prizes under the seats. Before the movie began, the manager would ask everyone to look under their seats for prizes (like a single serving box of Cheerios).
The mad bomber was acting out of malice, teen boys can be irresponsible and reckless.

An experiment 50 yards from Weisels memorial service

Are they intentionally trying to sound stupid? Yes, so they can mislead the public. Isn't it amazing that the government says to report suspicious activity, and then turns around and lies to the public?

Maybe it was one of clock boy’s experiments.

Sounds like an IED to me. Just in time for Independence Day. Hmmmm... Who might be interested in making such a statement?

Suing is more of a hobby than creating and planting IEDs. I’m sure he’s had plenty of ambulance chasers after him. In fact, I already know of one making inquiries.

I’m skeptical. I want to hear what analysis of the “fireworks” reveals.

An “experiment” that they chose to place in a public park? There are lots of stupid people but even some of those can see the willful lying here.

When they first said his foot was “vaporized” I thought an AP mine. But now they say he still has his foot, though gravely injured, I’m leaning to homemade, possibly big fireworks.

I saw the photo at the link. You can see toes and the ball of the foot, but they’re pointing in the wrong direction. That must have been a helluva firecracker.
I’m no explosives expert, but other than nitro, what explosives are that sensitive?
