One of the most endearing myths is that Mormons are conservative. I know and have known many Mormons, and not a one of them was conservative. They weren’t liberals, either. In fact, every Mormon I’ve ever known was — politically — squishy. They pretty much all had the attitude of “go along to get along,” to not be controversial, and their biggest inclination was to not make any waves. I know that is anecdotal, and should be taken as such.

As I said, my comment was anecdotal. And, no, I don’t believe I’ve ever met your sister (as I’m quite sure I’d remember someone who was bitten by a moose!). She sounds interesting!
