Texas Governor Greg Abbott turned the Governor’s Mansion blue on Saturday night, but not the way Democrats had hoped in 2014. The Texas governor flooded his official residence with blue floodlights in support of law enforcement officers across the Lone Star State.
This was about six months ago. Tonight, Governor Abbott turned the lights back on for five days in honor of the five murdered Dallas police officers.

We no longer respond with or to thought and critical thinking to produce a response in our society. The cops who were there protecting the protesters were protecting those that were there to protest against those same cops. When the shooting started, the cops went into the teeth of the fire and the protesters ran the other way --- fully expecting the cops they were protesting to have their backs."
