Tsk, tsk, tsk, is is improper and uncouth to confront the president with honesty. You need to be a team player and follow all the other wusses in playing make-believe. Otherwise, you will disturb the president’s in his make-believe mentality.

At tonight’s ABC town hall on race and gun violence, the lieutenant governor of Texas confronted President Obama over his reactions to shootings like in Dallas. Dan Patrick––no fan of Obama’s––said after Dallas that hatred against officers and anti-police rhetoric on social media fuels so much rage and hate.
Patrick told Obama that cops across the nation do not feel in their hearts that their president is on their side and doing everything he can to protect them. He suggested to the president that he should “consider being careful when there is an incident of not being too quick to condemn the police without due process and until the facts are known.”
Yeah. Obama scolded Patrick.
Eff you, Mediaite.
Good thing that Patrick resides in Tejas. Otherwise, he might be invited for a DC walk in Fort Marcy Park.
“Obama responded by smacking down his entire assertion, saying that he’s been “unequivocal” in condemning anti-police rhetoric, he’s always shown support law enforcement, and would be happy to send Patrick the evidence of such.”
I heard a couple of sound bites from Obama’s town hall.
He said that when he was a young man, a lady got off an elevator when he got on, rather than ride with him in the elevator.
He also said that when a black man such as himself walks down the street, you can hear the door locks clicking as you walk.
If the rest of this event was full of liberal pablum such as that, I’m glad I missed it.
Not pertinent. Because, lie.
Actually, if the headline was neutral, it would say “Obama, Patrick trade barbs”.
But no. It’s “Obama scolds”.
I’m white, and I’ve had women get off of an elevator, because I was the only person on the elevator. I’m also 6’ tall and very largely built, so I can be “intimidating”. But OBVIOUSLY, according to the President, she was demonstrating racism!
I’ve had people lock their doors when me and some of my friends and I walk down the streets - I guess that was racism? Now, in fairness, one of the guys who ran with us was black, so....
Hell, I have been stalked by a store owner and even been picked up by the police because I was accused of shoplifting - because there were two other platinum blond, white kids who lived in my neighborhood who looked a little like me (just for the record they were little thieves and white-trash - both did prison time)! Now I know that the white store owner was practicing racism against me?
All of the things which Obama and his ilk commonly diagnose as “racism” happens to LOTS of people, of different color, of different genders, of different backgrounds, etc... Unfortunately, for these mental midgets, it is easier to cry and complain than realize they are experiencing LIFE! Nothing is fair, and you get over it!
I was told POINT-BLANK, by a black store owner, that he “doesn’t hire my kind.” He said he hires “his own” to help them get ahead. Now THAT was racism, but I didn’t complain, I went and found a different damn job! DUH!!
The cops’ side and the people’s side should be the same side.

I don’t know what the attraction is but he can’t stay away from Texas but a few months and he’s baaaaack.
I’ve done that myself. Dog eaters give off a terrible body odor. Can smell them a mile away.
Now cat eaters...that’s harder to detect. They usually blend in when cooking with the rice and soy sauce so not as identifiable. /S
Obama is not on the side of America.
Governor Patrick was being generous. The vast majority of cops know (correctly) in their hearts that Obama is on the #BlackLivesMatter side and cheers every time a cop is killed.
But no. It’s “Obama scolds”.”
If the headline was neutral it would read, “Patrick makes honest comments about Obama. Obama throws hissy fit.”
Patrick needs to double and then triple down.
