Captain McCain was a hero that endured horrible torture. The North Vietnamese offered him freedom because he was the son on the Commander of the Pacific Fleet. It would have been a propaganda coup for the North Vietnamese. McCain with great honor followed the code of “First In First Out.” His decision cost him dearly at the hands of his torturers. I wish I could be half the man of Captain McCain. I am ten times the man of Senator McCain.
I do not know what the hell happened to that warrior when he became a Senator. It was not good.

Kasich and Jeb are having an irrelevance contest. So far, it’s tough to judge.
At least up until the point where he got out of the race, he was begging Trump for the number two spot.

It’s just too bad the media can crow about the Republican Governor of the state hosting the Republican convention as a no-show. Kasich is loser, and a sore loser, too.
The fact is that the Republican Party is the smaller of the two. If you gut just 20% of it base you have to fight an almost insuperable struggle to pry loose Dems and new voters. It looks as though at least half the establishment is in revolt against Trump, which would make that 20% defection rate seem conservative.

Maybe Kasich will luck out and hillary will choose him for her VP. He would fit in nicely. Tell the little boy to collect his toys and go home and stay there. I will say a prayer for all of those who just happen to live in Ohio. Boy am I glad that I live in Texas and have Governor Abbott in charge.
I believe you’re spot-on with your comments about these weasels. My belief is that Trump has dealt with similar types of weasels throughout his career. He knows how to roll over them like road kill during rush hour. I can’t recall seeing anyone act as Alpha in the political world as Trump has demonstrated thus far. I’d like to see him stick to his talking points more frequently during debates, but he does what he does.

Ohio must never host another Republican Convention and they can blame their whiny Governor for that. I hope the hotels, restaurants and other retailers understand the stain this jerk is putting on their state.
