I was really disappointed in him not endorsing Trump. It makes me wonder what he is trying to do or gain. He lost his bid and is now making enemies. It is hard to understand.

The only reason I can think is that Teddy Cruz is in the pocket of certain special interests. Then again, Cruz revealed during the primaries that he isn’t mentally, might have paranoid/anxiety issues. His paranoid obsession with Trump became frightening like a stalker’s.

Hillary offered him a bribe and he accepted is my guess.

It's not hard to understand if you have paid attention to him since his Senate race in 2012. Lots of little things that added up to his and his wife's narcissistic ambition. You eventually recognize both of them as really slick grifters.

At the Texas Republican Party State Convention, Cruz was in a runoff race for the Senate and had a campaign booth. He glad-handed the delegates, took pictures, made campaign promises and answered questions. One of the delegates asked him if he did win the Senate seat, would he then run for President like Obama did. He answered "No, I'm not eligible. I was born in Canada." He lied to me and all those at his booth that day. Then after he was elected to the Senate, he denied having ever said that. So much for supporting 'original intent' of the Constitution.

Later, when it was obvious that he was going to make a run at the Presidency, I tried to warn everyone here, but got attacked, and shunned by a lot of FReepers that were previously friendly. Perhaps some of them will be a little less hostile, now.

I will be searching for a real conservative to support to primary him in 2018.

The answer lies in Cruz’s dad has prophesy that Teddy is destined to be POTUS. Cruz has taken that to heart as gospel, and can not accept that he was defeaTED.
