Are you saying that one can’t know what goes on behind the scenes of an event, unless one watches the event?
Really?

10?
Lol, didn’t they forget how big Rio is?
They likely have 200 people with better cover.
To: polymuser
Well, if you never watch the games because of disinterest, why would you bother to read about what goes on behind the scenes?
I don't watch NASCAR or ML soccer, never have, and haven't got a clue what goes on behind their scenes. Couldn't care less.

Gosh, it would be totally awful if the Brazilian police arrested those BLM turkeys that flew down there, beat them, and threw them in a hundred-foot (that’s 30 and a half meters) hole with the rats and the spiders for the duration of the Olympics. Totally. Awful.

A couple of thoughts:
1) Wasn’t in Brazil that #43 had to grab his personal SS bodyguard by the collar to get him through ‘security?’ - It was thought that it was a prelude to and assassination attempt...
2) Formula 1 had a few issues in Brazil two years ago, and bad dudes tried to kidnap (very unsuccessfully) a driver. The Brazilian GP is Nov 11-13.
I do not have any beliefs that things will go well in Brazil...Here’s to hoping I am incorrect!

If I were a sports fan with more dollars than cents and lots of time on my hands, I would not be going to Rio.

I would be more afraid of Zika than a terror attack if going to Brazil. Especially if in a relationship possibly resulting in a pregnancy in the next year. Now that they have found case(s?) of female to male sexual transmission, and some strange cases with no sexual contact, it is even more scary.

I'd be afraid of everything equally: terrorists, Zika virus, local crime, local pollution ...

I suspect the Brazilian police have no qualms about racial profiling. Just this week in one of our smaller cities, the police publicly apologized for having described two thugs who had assaulted taxi drivers as “middle eastern”. Political correctness is handcuffing law enforcement and endangering the public in Europe and North America.

I'm hoping Trump will have a profound impact on PC in all its forms.

Have they found the Gitmo Graduate of Terror, released by Obama, who said he was going to Brazil for the Olympics.
