If I understand rightly from another thread, the Quicken arena is a private location, so I believe gun carrying was lawfully limited within it.

True. But at least he acknowlegded the rule of law and limited government. He gets some credit for that.

Agreed, but I’m just not sure of his true motivation.
He is a Traitor to the Party and the 14 Million People that Voted in the Republican Primaries IMHO, just like a few others I will not name.

I was thinking more of non-Republican protesters disrupting the convention, trying to shut it down, and provoking fights.
