As an aside, the latest PPP poll is plus D+8 on sample and Hillary up only 5. She’s not winning. The vitriol is steadily increasing, perhaps from knowing that Hillary is in trouble. The GOPe never Trump folks are especially losing their minds and rather angry. I hope that anger is because they are being put out to pasture; learning they have little influence and impact. Neither Bill Clinton nor Donald Trump - both Viet Nam era males - served in the military. The venom this man expresses toward Trump could be equally expressed toward Clinton. On the other hand, the Vice Presidential candidates of both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have sons in the Marines.
How about we focus on policies: Barack Obama opposed the invasion of Iraq. Hillary Clinton and George W. Bush supported it. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton supported the premature withdrawal from Iraq, as well as the destabilization of Libya and Syria. So, Hillary Clinton has been wrong 100 percent of the time.
Donald Trump says he opposed the invasion of Iraq, but we have no proof of that. We know that he opposed the War in Iraq once it turned bad. I’m not sure we have any solid indication of Trump’s positions regarding withdrawing from Iraq or getting into Libya and Syria in real time. But, as a candidate, he has indicated that these decisions were wrong. Trump opposes the U.S. being the world policeman and also says if we have to defend ourselves, we should use overwhelming force and achieve a quick victory. It is just about impossible to make sense out of Clinton’s geopolitical positions as it appears to be complete ad hoc and driven by trilateralist thinking.
