Is There a Backstory about Khizr Khan and Donald Trump?
American Thinker ^ | August 1, 2016 | Eileen F. Toplansky

[snip]According to (Bryon York)...""Khan's brief speech wasn't a finely-detailed case. But he suggested that Trump's Muslim ban and Mexican border wall proposals are unconstitutional. Specifically, Khan cited the words 'liberty' and 'equal protection of the law' in suggesting that Trump's policies violate the Constitution."

York emphasizes that "[a]s far as a Muslim ban is concerned, Trump . . . amended his proposal to focus on immigration from countries 'compromised by terrorism.' But assume that Khan was addressing Trump's original, more extensive, proposal: a temporary ban on foreign Muslims from entering the United States."

In fact, the 14th Amendment of the Constitution applies to "all persons born or naturalized" in the United States. It does not refer to foreign persons in foreign countries. Trump made it clear that this ban "would not apply to U.S. citizens, members of the U.S. military and others with a legal right to be in the United States." Whether one approves or disapproves of Trump's building a wall, deporting illegal immigrants and temporarily banning the entry of foreign Muslims, the fact is that Trump's proposals are not unconstitutional.

Moreover, ". . . Trump reiterated that "Captain Khan, killed 12 years ago, was a hero, but this is about RADICAL ISLAMIC TERROR and the weakness of our 'leaders' to eradicate it!"

When pressed as to why the Captain' mother did not speak also at the convention, Khizr Khan replied "she is still too grieved to speak of him." Twelve years ago?.... Muslim women are sometimes not allowed to speak.....Hillary's skullduggery at work again with the help of her well connected Muslim Abedin family.

I do know that if Khizr Khan is a devout Muslim, he considers the US Constitution, and its Bill of Rights, to be toilet paper, as do all devout Muslims.

His own toilet paper, the quran, is Greater. "Quran Akbar!"

Here we go again.

The Queen of Drama, Hillary Clinton, is once again upon us.

We have to start parsing EVERY FRACKING SYLLABLE now.

I've had 20 or more years of her Drama Queen crap.

The sonn was killed by muslim terrorists.

The father is a muslim immigration lawyer. He failed to enlighten us how you tell a good muslim from a bad one, when you are letting them in by the thousands.

Having lost a son to them, you’d think he would have some thoughts about letting them into the country. Other than, “let them in”.

The constitution says nothing (as far as I know) about rules we can establish to decide who is allowed into the U.S. Trump needs to continue hammering the point that our problem is with islamic terrorists and not all muslims. The left will attempt to twist it around that Trump is against all muslims etc.

This is just the start and intended to put Trump on the defense. Trump needs to get back on offense.

Someone should ask the mother whether she’d rather have been banned from entering the US in the first place if it meant her son would still be alive today.

Muslims would do us ALL a favor, by helping us decide Either/Or. You can’t be a freedom loving, advocate for the US. Constitution and swear by the book of the Lying Prophet Mohammed they call the Koran. The Koran calls for violent riddance of the infidels. So, EITHER you carry that copy of the constiution in your hip pocket and RIP to shreds the book of Koran, or you carry the Koran and rip up the Constitution. YOU CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. PLEASE, let’s not get confused about this. Like we have done with MALE vs FEMALE. We don’t even know if Obama is a Muslim. They lie.

We don’t know that, but of course it has happened over and over, several times with muslim US soldiers, and many times with muslim “allied” soldiers.

So, again, the father didn’t give us any insight into how you tell the difference between the good muslims and the bad muslims, and why he is determined to bring them all in indiscriminately.

“Was the son on a suicide mission, hell bent on taking many US Military with him when he died?”

Great question and it is a question that Donald Trump should be raising during campaign events.

Good question. I would like to know the details of the circumstances surrounding his death, if anyone knows.

The overuse of the term ‘HERO” has rendered the word meaningless. From the DOD on Kahns death, there was no heroic action taking place, the Captain and others he was with were victims of a car bomb in a combat zone.

/snip
Captain Humayun S. M. Khan, 27, of Bristow, Virginia, died June 8, 2004, in Baquabah, Iraq, after a vehicle packed with an improvised explosive device drove into the gate of his compound while he was inspecting soldiers on guard duty.
/endsnip

It does not reduce the unfortunate fact that he died in a combat zone, but people need to save the word ‘Hero’ for heroic actions or the word will slide further into the PC abyss.

1. There is no right under the U.S. Constitution for foreigners to enter the country. Period.

2. The clause in the Constitution regarding “no religious test” is for potential holders of federal office. Immigrants are not trying to get a federal job of any kind, they are trying to enter the country.

3. There is a law already on the books which allows the President to deny entry into the country of ANY group of people for ANY reason whatsoever. Jimmy Carter already used it to deny entry to ALL Iranians. I’m pretty sure that the law has been challenged (its been on the books since the early 1950s), and it has never been overturned.

4. The Constitution is not a suicide pact. The first job of ANY government is to protect its citizens, and if a portion of the Constitution must be temporarily put aside during any emergency to protect the people, once the emergency is over the legalities and the wisdom of that action can be examined in great detail. There is such a thing as using an enemy’s own strengths against him, and I am very firmly in the camp of those who believe that the Communists and the Moslems have taken advantage of us because of the nature of our Constitution and other laws. Our government would have to be insanely stupid, and immoral, to allow that situation to exist forever.
