When I started FReeper Display of Arms and Bearers I knew one of the few things that keep leftist administrations from assuming complete authoritarian control in America is the presence of armed citizens who are determined to defend themselves with terminal intention; a kind of civilian version of the mutually assured destruction doctrine. FReeper Gun Club is designed to take advantage of that resource and put it to use in a monthly online demonstration against government corruption. But since post one after announcing last year, FReepers have accused me of being a federal spy, mocked me for calling this a club and made fun of me for imposing rules of conduct. FReepers have intercepted others from participating in this protest by labeling it as an internet surveillance trap to lure gun owners here into exposing themselves to facial recognition and photo geocaching technology in a weapons tracking/confiscation operation.

If you think the government is going to find out about my guns because I'm uploading pictures of my target practice to the internet, let me tell you something. When I bought my first gun I personally hand wrote my full name, home address, birthplace and social security number on a form 4473 that is permanently being kept at the gun store and a record of it was electronically transmitted to several background check databases. Even if these records are not maintained in a central database and the gun store promises to keep my record private, the routine coercive, compromising and corrupting methods of the Obama administration guarantees these records that already exist, records that I voluntarily provided will be easily collected into a national database used to confiscate all firearms. I outed myself the moment I bought my first gun, and so did you, if you bought it legally from a dealer.

And let me tell you something else. When ever I talk with someone on the phone about guns, I am aware that the NSA is recording and caching the conversation and will find where I live through the billing address connected to my phone number. And when ever I wear pro-gun t-shirts, baseball caps or put pro-gun bumper stickers and decals on my car, I have to assume I'm being photographed by the Department of Transportation who will find where I live through my license plate. And you're afraid of government surveillance of what you post on the internet?

GET OVER IT! They already know everything. In fact, why not turn that vulnerability into a strength? Why not add your voice to a massive number of Americans who are telling hostile governments and invaders this is what you have to go through to get to us. The display of arms or a show of force is a deterrent tactic in the MAD doctrine. You don't develop weapons just to keep them secret. Deterrence is only effective when weapons tests are conducted for everyone to see. The enemy has to know to a certain degree how far you're able and willing to go in defending yourself. Organizing and prepping with other FReepers is how you increase your numbers and become more effective beforehand so that critical infrastructures are in place when a crisis hits. Doing this online is nothing to be afraid of. You are not in the wrong, they are. Don't let them intimidate you into self censoring or behaving any different than you normally do.

Where is it written that the right to keep and bear arms can only be maintained by keeping those weapons secret? If you live in fear of being seen or think it's a strategic disadvantage to allow yourself to be seen on the net with a gun, you're overlooking one of the most important tactics in avoiding violence: negotiation. The internet is a communications battlefield you can use to dispute ideas with language and imagery as a way of negotiating an outcome rather than resorting to physical force. But if you disregard the web as a viable field of operation because it has a reputation of being unserious or trivial or can be used for intelligence gathering, you will miss the opportunity to exert first amendment rights and prevent the enemy from appearing at your front door. By scaring people away from proving their ability and intention to defend themselves you are relinquishing territory and resources (speech) to the enemy. Forgoing the exercise of communication, you are guaranteeing the exercise of weapons.

The only reason to hide your guns is because you're not going to use them when the goons come. The only reason to not organize and prep with other FReepers is because you're not going to defend each other when sht hits the fan. If this is your attitude then you've contributed to the death of the Republic. The trademark FReeper silent treatment I've been experiencing for months makes no sense except that you've conceded to government/media oppression or have taken something I said personally. Is the reluctance to participate here the same as the failure to impeach Obama by now? The rules of conduct I ask for are to protect people from unnecessarily endangering themselves or putting the gun message at risk. A gun club is a group of enthusiasts who meet regularly to express ideas and exercise skills. The inability to see the value or usefulness of this in our current predicament reveals a lack of resourcefulness. The only method and goal are the exercise and defense of natural, unalienable human rights. Buy guns and ammo. Display your defense training here once a month. Commit to visit your local shooting range once a month and upload pictures or videos of your target practice on this monthly thread. Talk with them about civilian alert and surveillance systems you can put in place in your neighborhood to come to each other's aid and upload any confrontations to the internet to be viewed by the public.

- This is not a jokes board. Contributing proof that gun owners have training, discipline and self restraint on the internet goes a long way in advocating 2nd amt rights. For the love of God, for the sake of self defense rights, do not make dumb jokes that portray gun owners as drunk, incompetent boobs on boats. Please disarm gun haters by participating in this monthly thread with all seriousness, safety and sobriety. Do not post photos of yourself making faces or wearing costumes. Don't horseplay with guns.

- Do not publish personal information such as last names, email addresses, phone numbers, serial numbers, license plates, home addresses, etc. Use private email to arrange meetings with other members. Posting first name and general location is acceptable.

- Do not use targets that could be perceived by viewers as a threat to a living person or group.

- One month recent photo only. Please try to date stamp for the record. - Selfies are good. Larger group photos are better and send a stronger message.

- Guns are for defense only. Civilians do not take law into their own hands. A deadly weapon may only be used to prevent the loss of life, liberty or property or for the purposes of target practice or hunting.

There are bad fights and there are good fights. Bad fights are fought out of rage. A good fight is fought effortlessly by holding fast to principle, keeping emotional distance and enjoying the show while the one who is out of order wears themselves out and breaks down. Anger and fear are reactions to provocation. They are the emotional energy that the agitator needs to energize themselves with. Emotional stress is the currency of the left: "Never let a crisis go to waste." They deal in stress. If we corporately reject stress we will bankrupt the left. Firmness is a nonaction, an immovability, a resistance. Firmness is empowered or armed with a capacity of force under emotional restraint.

Fighting back does not complete a cycle of violence, it stops it. Fighting back saves lives: Flight 93, Hiroshima, etc. Fighting back does not "make you one of them" unless you fight badly out of emotion. But an unemotional authority that uses force without anger results in flawless finality. Do not commit to nonviolence, be intolerant of violence. Fight back. Do not let yourself be taken.

Do you think I want to spend my money buying guns and ammunition instead of other things? Do you think I want to take time out of my schedule, drive to the shooting range and put effort into practicing safety and marksmanship rather than doing something relaxing? Do you think I want to carry a licensed concealed weapon everywhere I go? Do you think I'll stand by as a refugee rapes a woman and stabs her to death in the vagina with a knife? Do you think I'll stand by as a jihadist axes the man beside me to death? And do you think I want to shoot and kill somebody, as if that would just make my day so much better? I just want my life back. I want back the life I had before 9/11/2001. If you think I'm going to simply fade away into a socialist, sharia shengrila, you're wrong.

We’re talking about a “51/49%” vote split that will usher her in. She’s known to cheat at polls, and she has every poll counter on her side. It’s going to happen. This isn’t going to be a clean win.

But my litmus: Ask anyone, “Did you vote for her?” The number of actual Hillary voters are so impossibly small that an honest election would put 99% in favor of President Trump.

So it’ll take cheating and lying. Which is what our enemy is absolutely made of.

So my question is this: Are the 3%, police, active military and military commanders going to do something ?

At the same time, selfies with pieces aside, it may alleviate the frustration you voice regarding the "silent treatment" or lack of an enthusiastic and exhibitionistic army to note that you do, after all, identify (in your title) as a One Man Stand; further, it is "in sanguinem" of many here to be somewhat wary (or aloof if you like) to those who promote other websites, namely, that which you've chosen as your handle.

I’m already on so very many lists one more can’t possibly hurt. I was 13 when GCA 68 was passed, and knew things were getting dicey then. Was a card-carrying NRA member in the ‘70’s as a teenager. Vietnam Era vet. Desert Storm vet. Now I’m a retired USAF Master Sergeant. Bought a lot of guns over the years, with lots of Form 4473’s. They know who I am, and where I am.

For the original poster: The overt insinuation of anarchism and disregard for all authority is a little much for me on a public forum. I doubt there are many on FR that object to your opinion. But your approach is similar to the protester that makes a statement by strapping an AR-15 to his back and marches through town in camo hoping to meet a police officer and capture a viral you tube moment to support the cause.

Here on FR we all acknowledge and respect the right, but also seek to educate and influence liberals through intellect. To each their own.

I passed two ospreys (not AF I know) practicing landing/takeoffs in Green River UT last week - so awesome. Expensive, but glorious.
