But I remember reading about things like the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio. It’s hard to think the last word is in on this.

Forget about omega 6 oils...they are all bad for you. Corn oil, soybean oil, canola oil, etc should be avoided like the plague that they are.

Use coconut oil. It is the only oil we should use for cooking. Olive oil is ok for salads, of for dipping bread, but do not cook with it...heat does bad things to olive oil.

Yup, used to be one of my favorites!

Now a little Tito's with some added capsaicin is even better!

And btw, re CoQ10...must be ubiquinol, not ubiquinone. And every one on the evil statins MUST be on ubiquinol...the evil statins cause heart attacks, but ubiquinol helps to prevent.

Long chain fatty acids are problematic, right? Kinda like asbestos...

And if I’m not mistaken, olive oil holds up under heat.

It’s hard to keep up—I remember when coconut oil was considered “bad” because IIRC it had a high level of saturated fat.

Provided you don’t have a allergy to sea food that includes salt water fish from which these oils are extracted.

Try looking up K2 Complex. It forces the calcium to stay in your bones, not form plaque in your arteries. Good for both bones and heart. http://advances.nutrition.org/content/3/2/158.full

Well, the majority of the Omega-3 studies find results from fish-based Omega-3s, rather than gelcaps

I take Carlson liquid cod liver oil. I’m out and am considering ordering fermented clo, but ugh. Im sure the taste is awful.

The only reaction you will have to Capsaicin is better health due to more perfect blood flow.

As an added plus, it also stops all hemorrhages.

Saturated fats are what your brain and heart live on.

Polyunsaturated fats are all dangerous in the extreme.

Mono unsaturated fats are safe.

I started taking fish oil for one thing several years ago - maybe general health? Anyway - my cholesterol levels dropped to a healthy level with no change in diet or exercise. So I’ll continue to take it. If nothing else, it helps with inflammation which can cause multiple issues.

From my research, I advise avoid or go slowly on fish oils.

Fish oils are poly unsaturated fats. These are more unsaturated than the omega six oils, which are known to be deadly because of their unsaturation.
