The Communists have not run a ticket since Gus Hall made his last attempt in 1984. One would say they are quite comfortable with the Presidential nominees of the Democrats since, Zero and Hillary being no exception.

They’ve been the Democrat Party’s “steering committee” for decades. Pretty much openly, too; the evidence has been plain to see for anyone who cared to look.

When I was a kid, my father used to guffaw at Gus's candidacy announcements since the idea of Americans electing a communist as President was so beyond the pale.
And now....
There’s always the Party of Socialism and Liberation and the Socialist Worker’s Party, both avowedly Communist. not a lot of ballot access, especially for the later, which seems more like a Castro-lovers club than a party.
The pro-terrorist, pro-North Korea, Worker’s World Party also nominated a ticket after an 8 year hiatus (co-endorsed McKinney in 2008, no one in 2012) but have no ballot access, write in’s in Ohio.
Imagine what kind of hardcore nutter you have to be to not only think the dems are too far right but the Greens and Peace and Freedom ect as well. The vast majority are fine with the rats.
I’m fascinated by the psychology behind these no chancer candidates who would be lucky to get a hundredth of a percentage point.
