DETROIT — A Muslim flight attendant has sued ExpressJet, accusing the airline of wrongly suspending her because she refused to serve alcohol to passengers.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Michigan chapter announced Tuesday it filed the lawsuit last week on behalf of Charee Stanley, a Detroit-based flight attendant for the airline headquartered in Atlanta.

Is she saying she wasn’t advised part of her job was to serve passengers alcoholic beverages prior to her hiring, or at the time she was hired? I call BS on that.

It’s a dangerous precedent that could be set here, and certainly one that has been declined in the case of Christians - who refused to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding and were fined out of existence as a result.
But, then, moslems are the Flavor of the Month now, and everyone is doing everything possible to kneel before them.

Targeted anti-western BS. I’ve never had a problem getting a drink on an Emirates flight. You can bet your a$$ Etihad, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, et.al. wouldn’t have an airline if they cut off the booze. These hypocrites will get piss drunk as soon as the plane is airborne since they’re no longer in touch with the sacred sands.
If I was hiring, I know this quick to sue trait would make me far less likely to hire a Muslim, even when qualified. Especially if some imaginary quota of minorities has already been met. Some black people and some women have made the same mistake. Sue in haste, collect unemployment in leisure.
Not about religion. It is about insubordination and knowing when you took the job what was required and se said yes to it.
It is refusing to perform job duties.
If Ms. Civilizational Jihad cannot fulfill the job duties that clearly stipulate service of food, drink and alcoholic beverages to males and females (and gays) and even the occasional dog, she should have self-identified her objections to such duties during the selection process so that she could have been disqualified instead of wasting everyone’s time and taking someone else’s slot. Pink slip her as misrepresenting that she could meet job expectations and give the slot to someone interested in a career more than political stunts designed to coerce a payoff.
How long has she had this job and when did she decide to not fulfill her obligation to her employer?
I would have ordered a ham sandwich as well....

If I don’t do the requirements of my job, I get fired.
Then again, I’d have her clean the toilets.
