Mend it, don’t end it.

SOMEBODY is being “divisive” and “incompetent”, and it is NOT The Donald.

Had the Republican party much earlier on embraced their presumptive nominee, and not gone through all this teeth-gnashing and fits of hysteria, the race would have immediately become much more focused and issues presented by The Donald would be getting talked about today.

The issues are still there. Their resolutions may never be forthcoming so long as these diversionary tactics continue.

a clear message from the GOP to the grassroots activists and voters saying "Don't even try to run non-establishment candidates who we don't vet for you next time."

Mark my words....by 2020 they will have implemented their own version of the Democrat Superdelegate Scam.

NeverTrump is really about never-ending illegal alien inundation.
The Cheap Labor Express does not intend to allow the citizens to reverse 30 years of bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of borders and laws.
The illegal alien inundation was INTENTIONAL.

No, they cant.

A Hillary win means a Democrat Permanent Majority. She'll stack the courts, legalize 30+ million new immigrant voters, and use HUD to force Section 8 into red Congressional districts. And they're deluded enough to think that all of us are going to come crawling back to vote for Jeb next time.

Actions like this will end the Republican party.

It already has. There is now only one party, the political ruling class, and then there are the people. The questions is are we going to be citizens or slaves??

It is clear that it is more important to these GOPE-enemies of our Republic to stop a non-professional politician from breaking their ranks than it is to defend and protect our Constitution from the unrelenting attacks of the Left.

” They” believe “ they” will live to fight another day

You see, if Hillary wins life really doesn’t change for “ them”
So they prefer to go to the mattresses over supporting a nonelite no politician outsider they cannot control

I truly can’t believe they are so out of touch as to ponder what life will be for them with a greatly greatly reduced political party and a huge mass of hostile angry rogue intelligent independent voters that are not wedded to any ideology, conservative or liberal

I myself am only listed as a republican on the voter roles because of inertia but I have no party loyalty and won’t be remaining in the GOP bar a november miracle ... I don’t know which is stronger- my disgust for them or my embarrassment

You asked in post #8 what I was wondering.

Yes, I know it was a bunch of “former” office holders.

But who in the world would sign such a letter?

I would say 14 million people outweigh 70 by a bunch!

Good morning.

“Where are the 70 names....post them please.”

I second that notion.

A partial listing of these turncoats via Pollutico:

Former Sen. Gordon Humphrey of New Hampshire
Former Reps. Chris Shays of Connecticut
Former Congressman Tom Coleman of Missouri
Former Congressman Vin Weber of Minnesota

...are among the Republicans lending their name to the letter.

Close to 20 of the co-signers are former RNC staffers, including:

Mindy Finn (former RNC chief digital strategist)
Christine Iverson Gunderson (former RNC press secretary)
Virginia Hume Onufer (former RNC deputy press secretary)
Beth Miller (former RNC field communications division director)
Heather Layman (former deputy press secretary)
B. Jay Cooper (former RNC communications director)
Patrick Ruffini (former RNC ecampaign director)
Republican Andrew Weinstein (worked on the Dole/Kemp campaign, deputy press secretary to then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich)

I can’t believe it’s ok with them to let Hillary become president and let us see four to eight more years of the Obama revolution take place.

Their number one concern is getting reelected. They don't give a shit about leading or about promoting conservative principles.

Hillary is part of the club. She'll play ball. She knows the rules. That's all that matters.

What we have to convey to Bernie supporters and to Independents is that the uniparty elite had schemed to force-feed us either Jeb or hillary. If those dissatisfied dems vote for hillary, they will have no influence.....they've been replaced by globalist elite backstabbers from the other branch of the uniparty. Bernie lost, but it was in a system so rigged there was no way he could win. Next time 'round, they won't even pretend the votes of the little folk matter....unless Trump wins and takes out the garbage.

Maybe that's the quick thing we can say to them...."did you know hillary has replaced you with at least 70 Republicans who are supporting her instead of Trump? And that she welcomes their support."

These people are on the same level as the characters played by Danny Glover, Josef Sommer, and Angus MacInnes in “Witness” and Murray Hamilton, Tim McIntire, and Wilford Brimley in “Brubaker”. These two movies are a good education for anyone needing to learn about the Party of Government and what it is about.
